"I like using it to keep up..."
I like using it to keep up with local business news, and it’s handy for quick updates. That said, some of the stories feel a little too short, or, like they could use more detail.
"Logging in has been fine for me..."
Logging in has been fine for me, and updating my account info was simple. I changed my password and billing details without running into any issues, which was nice. Not exactly thrilling or anything, but it worked. I guess that’s all I really needed, though I was weirdly impressed by how painless it was.

"I use Bizjournals.com mainly when I’m looking for..."
I use Bizjournals.com mainly when I’m looking for specific local business news, and for that it’s useful. I tend to just focus on the headlines or topics I care about and skim past the rest, but the site can feel a little crowded at times. The popups and login prompts show up more than I’d like, which gets annoying. Search is decent, though digging up older articles isn’t always smooth. Overall, it’s not a bad site, I just wish it were a bit easier to navigate

"As someone who likes to keep up with..."
As someone who likes to keep up with what’s happening locally, I was impressed by how many markets this covers. It feels really broad without being overwhelming, and it makes it easy to stay connected to different areas.

"It’s been worth the subscription for me. I..."
It’s been worth the subscription for me. I mainly use it to keep up with local business news, and it saves me a bunch of time instead of hunting around for updates. Seems like everyone who wants to stay on top of what’s happening locally would probably get something out of it

"Some decent leads, but a lot felt outdated"
I did get a few useful leads from it, so it wasn’t a total waste, but quite a few seemed old or not really fresh anymore. I also got the feeling that when I reached out about it, nobody actually read my message, which was frustrating

"Support helped, but the whole thing is hit or miss"
Support did eventually get back to me and answered my issue, but it definitely took longer than I expected. The product kind of feels like it works when it wants, which is frustrating. Not the worst experience, but not exactly smooth either

"I used bizjournals.com for a few company..."
I used bizjournals.com for a few company directories and contact lists, most of the information was accurate. It saved me a good amount of time when checking names and contacts. My only small issue was that I expected the instructions to be a bit clearer when getting started, but overall it was solid and I don’t have any major complaints.

"Canceling was easier than I expected"
I went into it assuming they’d make cancellation a hassle on purpose, but it was straightforward. It did take a little longer than I would’ve liked, though nothing too frustrating. Overall, painless.

"Easy to Find What I Was Looking For"
I was trying to track down some older articles and the search worked well. It pulled them up quickly, and the whole process felt simple enough that I didn’t have to overthink it. It’s a small thing, but being able to find past information that easily makes the site feel a lot more useful.
"Used to be smoother, but digital access is frustrating now"
I’ve always liked keeping up with the local business news here, and the digital access used to work a lot better. Lately though, it’s been logging me out or just not loading way too often. For something I’m paying for, it gets annoying. Support did help me once, but the same problem came right back.

"good articles that are actually useful"
I check bizjournals.com regularly for local business news, and it’s been useful. the articles are easy to follow without feeling watered down, and they usually include details I don’t see on other sites. it’s a simple way for me to stay in the loop on what’s happening nearby.

"I check bizjournals.com often for local business news..."
I check bizjournals.com often for local business news, and from what I’ve seen, it’s usually on point. That said, I don’t have a huge amount of proof beyond my own reading, but every now and then a story feels a little rushed or like a few details are missing. For bigger news, I usually look at another source too just to be safe. Overall, it’s not bad at all, I just wish it felt a bit more thorough sometimes.

"I do like some of the business news..."
I do like some of the business news on bizjournals.com, but the site is painfully slow for me. Pages sit there loading forever, the ads seem to show up before the actual article, and sometimes I just get tired of waiting and close the tab. It’s frustrating when I only want to read one quick story. I haven’t bothered reaching out to customer service because, from experience, that usually doesn’t lead anywhere useful. It’s not the worst site out there, but the speed really needs to be fixed...

"Emails aren’t annoying as hell"
They send just the right amount of emails. Not blasting my inbox like some needy little spam goblin. Chill overall.
"Got stuck in a support loop"
I had a billing issue and reached out hoping for a quick explanation, but it took forever to hear back. When they finally responded, the answer was vague and didn’t really clear anything up. I kept getting passed around or sent the same kind of generic replies, so it felt like I was stuck in a support loop without anyone actually addressing the problem.

"Pretty dependable print delivery"
I’ve been getting the paper regularly and it shows up on time most weeks. There was one week it didn’t arrive, but I contacted support and they got it sorted out without much hassle. Overall, I’m happy with it and would say it’s been reliable.

"Good app, but I wish feedback didn’t feel ignored"
I’ve been using the bizjournals.com app for a few months, mostly on my train ride, and it’s been useful for keeping up with local business news. Most mornings it loads quickly, and the articles are easy to read without a bunch of clutter getting in the way.
The alerts are actually helpful, which surprised me. They’re not overwhelming, and I like being able to save stories for later. I did get logged out once for no clear reason, but getting back in was quick enough.
My only real gripe is that when I’ve sent feedback or noticed small issues, it kind of feels like nobody is paying attention. The app itself is still solid if you follow business news in your city, but I’d feel better about it if it seemed like users weren’t being ignored...

"Decent business news, but I still double check"
I check bizjournals.com every so often when I want local business updates, and for the most part it seems solid. The articles usually feel legitimate and they do name sources, so I wouldn’t call it sketchy or anything like that.
My main gripe is that some articles are locked behind a paywall, and every now and then it’s not super clear whether something is straight news or has more of a promotional angle. I’ve also had the usual experience of getting those canned “sorry for the inconvenience” replies when asking about access or billing stuff, which is always a little annoying because it doesn’t feel like anyone actually read the question.
Overall, I think it’s fine for quick local business updates, but I still double check anything important somewhere else. I wouldn’t use it as my only source if I were making a big decision

"Billing was mostly fine, but the renewal email felt suspicious"
I use bizjournals.com to keep up with local business news, and for the most part the billing has been what I expected. My monthly charge lined up, so no big scandal there. But one renewal email was worded in a way that made me check my card statement twice, like there was some secret billing maze I was supposed to figure out. Maybe I’m just paranoid, but it felt a little too unclear for something as simple as a subscription renewal. Support did get back to me after a bit, so that helped. Overall, not terrible, just not as transparent as I’d like. 3 stars.
